“ This restaurant is attached to the Lodge cast iron museum. I had read that there was a breakfast place here but never thought it would be any good, to my surprise it was very good! Our waitress, Madison, was so kind and attentive! She did an amazing job taking care of our table of 9! I had the BLT, phenomenal! One of my kids had a spicy chicken sandwich, he really enjoyed that! My husband had a skillet and he loved that! Overall it was a great experience! I recommend this restaurant even if you’re not going to the iron cast museum or the store! ”

“ On the side of the wonderful Lodge Store and Museum in South Pittsburg TN is a unique little breakfast place called Big Bad Breakfast. There are some unique selections on their menu as well as more traditional choices. I have to recommend the omelette with spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, and goat cheese. The cheese is a little tart and super creamy and blends so well with the spinach. It is served with a side of greens which is chopped lettuce and a type of vinaigrette (I don’t remember what they called it). I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. ”

The coffee cappuccino were both excellent. The veggie omelet was fresh and flavorful, while the hash brown was perfectly crispy and comforting. The Cathead Chicken Biscuit was the star of the meal—fluffy biscuit topped with crispy fried chicken, smothered in sausage gravy and melted cheddar cheese, and crispy bacon on the side added the perfect smoky crunch. “ We showed up with 11 people without prior warning and they did not hesitate in seating us. The service was very friendly and quick. They clearly worked extra hard to take care of us even though we knew that we made it more difficult for them with a large group. Everyone's food was delivered quickly, accurately, and was hot and fresh. The Big Bad Skillet was excellent with 4 of our group having this meal. Another had the shrimp and grits which they enjoyed a great deal. ”
